As soon as you see them riding into the winter riding school, you understand why the Lipizzaners were the favorites of the Habsburgs: They are not only intelligent and graceful, but also love to show off. A penchant for applause seems to be in the genes of the beautiful gray horses. It is the stallions themselves who, with their natural disposition and character, set the pace and direction of their careers.
The High School, which has been practiced here since 1565, is part of the UNESCO intangible cultural heritage of humanity. The focus on the horse as a partner forms the basis of the work between man and horse. Experience this harmony in the morning work, a demonstration or on a guided tour!
